I don't represent Tom Cruise.
I've been a Hollywood agent for over ten years and in that
time, I have always worked in the trenches, representing working
actors and new performers who are just getting started.
Over the years, I've met thousands of actors and they always
ask the same questions. Year after year. The questions never
change. And that's why I wrote this book. It's my way of answering
those questions.
'An Agent Tells All' is an uncensored look at the business
of acting from the perspective of a working agent. There is
no other book on the market written by someone who is currently
employed as an agent. Not one.
The tone of the book is very direct and to the point. My goal
is to give you good, solid advice without pulling any punches.
I've also included several behind the scene anecdotes. From
the day I became an agent, actors have been dreaming up ways
to make my life a living hell. Who knew those stories would
come in so handy?
Basically, I wrote this book for all the actors who are just
starting out in their career. I also wrote it for every actor
who has been struggling for years and just can't seem to catch
a break.
I didn't write this book for Tom Cruise. He seems to be doing
just fine.
